WWhat a beautiful cloudy autumn day. Not every day will be sunny and warm. Each day must be enjoyed as it is. Being at the seaside always puts me in a good mood. The smell of the sea, the wind throwing my hair about, my clothes in motion. These elements set a nice mood for a fabulous photo shoot.
We were down Hampton (Melbourne) way to have a look at the location of a wedding we have to photograph in the weekend coming up. It’s only a small drive past Brighton along the bay. We thought it would be great to combine this a photo shoot. The pier was a great spot to start. Every now and then a group of tourists would arrive but it was generally empty enough for us to shoot away. The fisherman there enjoyed our show. It was a quite an overcast day but not cold. What a treat it was to see some pelicans down there too. The photos turned out beautifully.
Black was my colour of choice on this day and I was in the mood for lace and tulle. The top is from Witchery and the tulle skirt is an unknown brand. Quilted leather gloves are from Forever New.
