Forest Nymph
A nymph is a classic creature of Greek and Roman Mythology. She is a maiden, a goddess of nature, who lives on land or in water. She is beautiful and graceful.
What fun it was to run around Melbourne in a tutu this week! This is a gorgeous, willow green one given to me by Agnes from Paper Doll Personal styling to use on a shoot for our photo blog.
For our last instalment in our Fairy Tale trilogy, I decided to hit a forest and play a mythical creature, the Melbourne forest Nymph. I think I did a good job here.
Our Melbourne Fairy Tale Trilogy
The silk top is by Alannah Hill. I just love the pearly buttons and ruffle detailing on this one. Alannah Hill designs are so feminine. The head-dress is made of semi-precious stones and shell which have been wired together in the shape of flowers. It was actually a necklace but I thought it was stunning as the Nymph’s head-dress. The satin shoes are from Sachi.
This week we aimed for three very different Fairy Tale style photo shoots in three different locations around Melbourne. As wedding photographers, it’s always handy to have a few locations up our sleeves for our wedding couples. Doing these photo shoots allows us to discover these gorgeous locations.
We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do. We aim to bring you lots of beautiful, inspiring images on a regular basis. Make sure you check back here often to view them! Thanks for taking the time to look.
