Audrey Hepburn was a classic beauty with an amazing, simple style which is still inspiring and adored to this day. She looked beautiful in everything she wore, whether it was monochrome or colour. The lines of her clothes were always clean and super feminine. Audrey always carried herself with poise and grace, due to her ballet background. This woman is a always a source of inspiration for fashion and photography.
Audrey inspired photo shoot
I’ve only recently met Agnes, a stylist, as she had just moved down from New South Wales. It turns out that we both admire Audrey and beautiful fashion. Seeing that Agnes has beautiful, fine features gave me the inspiration to do an Audrey Hepburn style shoot.
Audrey Hepburn – an elegant spirit
There is a lot of black happening in Melbourne at the moment so I thought it would be nice to go with some colour. We were inspired by the cover of the book – Audrey Hepburn, An Elegant Spirit. On the cover, Audrey wears a beautiful pink shirt. Agnes had the perfect silk shirt for our photo shoot. We headed out to Armadale as there are so many nice little photo locations there. Armadale is an elegant suburb as well which was perfect for our Audrey Hepburn theme.
