Australian fashionistas have a lot of cool pieces to play with when it comes to winter fashion. As our winter never gets too cold, some pieces will see you right through to spring and summer! It’s all about layering! Wear that floaty dress under a stylish trench coat. Maybe a mini leather skirt with opaque tights and a light top with a knit vest.
The venue was Westfield Doncaster’s Styling Suite, a place where shoppers could go for styling advice. Fashion bloggers were treated canapés, champagne and a preview of the beautiful pieces of autumn/winter style which are about to hit the stores. The uber stylish Kate Waterhouse, wearing a black Carla Zampatti playsuit, flew down from Sydney to present the key looks of autumn/winter 2015.
Models showcased upcoming autumn/winter looks which included beautiful soft leather pieces, flirty trench coats and pops of colour. For those who were a big fan of the Snugglepot and Cuddlepie (Gumnut Babies), there’s a beautiful printed dress out for you! I’m very happy that flat lace-ups are still in fashion, along with gorgeous cut-out heels and boots. Oh, and everyone needs a pair of leopard print shoes for winter as leopard print never goes out of style!
What’s on my list? I’m wanting to add some beautiful leather pieces to my wardrobe, starting with a natural coloured jacket. A pale trench coat will be a piece which see me looking stylish from day to night and a pair of leopard print ankle boots are just a must!
