Bondi Costal Walk

During our visit to Bondi Beach in Sydney, we took a little stroll up the Bondi Coastal Walk. Having our little man with us, we weren’t aiming to get too far. We walked past Icebergs, the famous salt water swimming pool, and got to the highest point of the walk where the view of Bondi was just gorgeous. The wind was up and the waves crashed onto the rocks below us. This gorgeous weather saw Bondi Beach covered with sunbathing bodies. It seemed like everyone had taken the day off work!

A fun scene was a golden retriever dog and his owner enjoying a swim below us, not at all phased by the waves which were crashing over them. The water was always a bit too cool for my liking, so a dip up to my thighs was all that I was willing to brave.

The pure silk, floral print summer dress I’m wearing was a fabulous vintage find from my local thrift shop. It was in perfect, nearly unused condition selling for a hefty total of $4! The label is Esther Boutique, Capri with a print from artist, Gerard Le Roy. This is a piece which I’m going to get a lot of wear out of year after year as it is just timeless. On this occasion I’ve worn ballet flats with it. A pair of wedge heels gives it more appeal but still keeping it as daywear. The funky sunglasses are from Mink Pink.
