It was my husband’s birthday and De Bortoli Vineyard was the perfect place to go and enjoy some lunch and vineyard views. The chosen outfit for the day was this gorgeous silk Lisa Ho dress with shoulder pads! These fashion items of the eighties have made a comeback but in a very modern way. They give the shoulder some structure and when done properly, as Lisa Ho has, it looks super classy.
This predominantly white dress with black splatterings all over it is a versatile piece which can be worn out to lunch or a fancy event. I love the high quality of the clothing which the label Lisa Ho produces. The stretch silk provides a lot of comfort to the wearer.
De Bortoli Vineyard is one of my favourites in the Yarra Valley which is just over an hour from Melbourne’s CBD. The restaurant serves wonderful wines to accompany their equally wonderful food. Their vines span quite a distance and one could imagine that they were somewhere in Tuscany while wandering around here.
Do yourselves a favour, put on a gorgeous summer dress and head up to the Yarra Valley for some vineyard experience.
