With this scorching hot weather, we headed down to Lago Di Garda (Lake Garda) to cool down – silly me forgot to take my bikini! Never mind, walking into the cool water was enough to cool me right down. It’s a popular destination, as with anywhere else in Italy right now, with holiday-makers everywhere! There is no soft sand to sink your toes into, but it’s a lake and not the sea. Still, a very pretty spot with a castle on the hill, where we headed up to later for a fabulous meal at a restaurant with a gorgeous view.
