OOn such a warm and sunny day I like to get outside. It’s a sure-fire way to boost my happiness reserves. Even a leisurely walk around a park with some other activities thrown in, such as climbing a tree or a couple of minutes of kickboxing. Don’t know how to kick box? Just pretend you are Jet Li and throw some kicks into the air. This will look pretty awesome to a passer-by. These little activities will get some of the feel-good chemicals, called endorphins, running through your system.
Surround yourself with things that represent happiness. I bought a couple of bunches of sunflowers this week which are just divine! Looking at them daily makes me smile.
Jump or do a cartwheel! You can’t do these things and stay uptight! It’s such an easy and fun way to get your joints moving. Don’t forget to do some gentle stretches during your time out so that your body can remain agile.
