When T2 invites you to drink and talk tea at their headquarters for their T2 Summer Edition Tea Festival, you get the feeling that your senses will be in for a treat. It all starts with the welcoming drink at the front door, a refreshing iced tea to get your tastebuds tingling and cool you down on an unusually warm spring night.
Exotic tea cocktails
Inside, tasty tacos and burritos were on offer with exotic tea cocktails to wash them down with. Mixologists from various bars were brought in to create unique cocktails for this event. The bar set-up had you feeling that you were in an experimentation lab.
One room was assigned for tea tasting, where knowledgable staff members let you experience their amazing tea range. Another room offered very entertaining tea leaf readings with Annie, something nearly every guest and staff member queued for! The experimentation room was laden with tins of dried tea, where you could smell your way through T2’s exciting tea mixes. You were then invited to create your own combinations, with the guide of T2 staff (they really know their tea).
Experiment with tea
There must be a secret ingredient thrown into T2 teas. It puts all those who drink it in a happy place! The venue was filled with calm and happy people, whether they were drinking the ‘spiked’ or softer versions of the cocktails! Creative ice tea mixes were a great alternative It’s definitely changed the way I’ll be serving tea to my guests in the future!
T2 has gained a hoard of younger followers with their clever marketing and unique blends of tea. They still stock the standard green teas and black teas, but when you buy it from their wonderfully decked out stores and boxed in their beautiful packaging, it just tastes better.
