This is one of the gorgeous dresses that I picked up at Landes in Richmond, Melbourne last week. It’s from the label All About Eve. What I love about button down dresses is that you can decide to be conservative and have it buttoned all the way down, or undo the buttons up a little for a sexier look. In this case, it’s unbuttoned up high so that it can be swept away by the breeze that was present at Bondi Beach that day. These funky Mink Pink sunnies are from Landes as well.
Breeze at Bondi Beach
How I love sunshine with a breeze! It’s the most perfect condition for a floaty dress photo shoot. There’s no need for a hairdo as it’s tangle within seconds. That natural beach hair look is just gorgeous. What fun it was to chase seagulls! Those birds were not the tiniest bit scared and took a bit of effort to make them scatter!
This maxi dress saw me through from a day at the beach, to dinner with some friends, then back to the beach for sunset. Unfortunately the sunset is not so spectacular at Bondi Beach as the sun disappears quickly behind the cliff top, rather than the horizon. It was beautiful regardless. Despite the cold, there were some keen surfers still riding the waves.
