Landes – gorgeous yet affordable

Landes isn’t a store which I would normally shop at, but I was keen to see what it had to offer. After everything is nearly available online it is great to see a brick and mortar store at very affordable prices. I was very nicely surprised. As a blogger and photographer, I’m constantly looking out for outfits which I’d love to share with my followers and can get a bit pricey at times. Landes is one of those places that you can find gorgeous pieces that won’t send you broke.

Funky and vibrant

From the moment that you walk through their doors, you know that this place is young, funky and vibrant. The music is pumping (not overbearingly), and there are racks and racks of clothes and lots of accessories to browse through, with prices ranging from $5 to $100. There was the new season range from Mink Pink and stacks of reduced and sample items. How was I going to pick just a few!

Ok, so I walked into the change room with an armful of dresses. Unfortunately for me, most were a little too short for my liking. Occasionally I will wear the mini skirt or dress, but my ideal length is about knee height. Luckily, I found two maxi dresses which I absolutely love! One of these maxi dresses made it up to Bondi Beach with me and it was perfect for our photo shoot. See the results of the photo shoot here. A pair of Mink Pink sunglasses and a black necklace completed my looks.

Something for everyone

There is something for everyone at Landes, especially the young ones or the young at heart like me! You’re going to find something there whether you’re looking out for an outfit to paint the town red in, or you’re heading off on a beach holiday. The staff are so friendly and leave you alone to wander around the store. There’s even a comfy couch for your partner or friend to lounge on and wait for you while you shop.
