Christine Spielmann, from the Northern Territory, looked amazing in her original Nadia Foti designed outfit (made from a Camilla kaftan which Christine had) and blue aluminium laser-cut headpiece from Joanna Roberts. This is a stand-out, unique piece which has all the elements of a winning look.
The combination of different blues, greens and black works beautifully together. There is clever usage of different fabrics. The black crinoline peeping out from under the asymmetric top adds a little drama. The plain lime green skirt gives the ensemble a nice contrast and allows the printed top to be in focus. Accessories were kept minimal. Christine chose a simple yet modern black clutch, black shoes and the lady-like gloves to finish the outfit with.
Topping off the look is the anodised blue laser-cut aluminium visor or headpiece. This headpiece just propels the entire look into the future. Combined with Christine’s gorgeous smile, the outfit shone and wowed the judges. She’ll be back on Oaks Day to compete in the Victorian Fashions on the Field Finals, then the National finals if she makes it through.
