This lovely young lady is a regular in the Fashions on the Field scene. She’s won a few sashes already, but she’s just getting started! With her stunning blue eyes, her killer smile and that amazing fashion sense, Brodie will no doubt go on to win many more fashion competitions.
Myer Fashions on the Field Winner 2014
Brodie took out the Derby Day Fashions on the Field competition last Saturday at Flemington. Braving the cold and sticking with the Derby Day tradition, she shone in her white Maticevski dress and Felicity Northeast millinery. Amazingly, two other contestants wore the same dress in the competition that day! All ladies looked gorgeous and it was a wonder how the judges chose their winner! Em Bodinar, who wore the same dress, took out the Longines Elegance Award and walked away with a Longines watch to the value of $3000.
Brodie Worrell – Fashions on the Field Winner 2014
Brodie will be back on Thursday’s Oaks Day to compete in the Victorian finals against the other two winners who will be selected on Cup Day and Oaks Day. The Victorian winner will then go on to compete against the other winners from around Australia to determine who walks away with all the goodies.
Update 06/11/2014:Brodie won the Victorian Fashions on the Field finals and also the National Finals … Congratulations Brodie!
Brodie collected approximately $100,000 worth of prizes, including a brand new Lexus, by standing out in the National Fashions on the Field final. Not bad for this little lady who has just recently turned 21! This was the first time in a while that an off-the-rack outfit has won the Melbourne Cup Fashions on the Field. It’s also the very first time that a winner from the Derby Day Fashions on the Field has taken out the National final. The amazing Toni Maticevski dress proved to be very popular, seen on four contestants of the Fashions on the Field competition this year. It must be the luckiest dress as it was also worn by the model wearing the winning design in the Millinery Award! The first runner up of the Fashions on the Field National final also wore a Maticevski design.
