On our way out of Berlin, we popped in to see Sanssouci Palace, in Potsdam. The gardens of Sanssouci Palace will just blow you away. Sculptures and flowers adorn the immaculately kept gardens. The lush green grass looked so inviting and makes you just want to lie on it for a while. Unfortunately, like most palace grounds, you are prohibited from walking or lying on the grass. There are a few that we’ve been to and have wished that we had taken a picnic basket with us as there were no restrictions about enjoying their lawns!
Getting a nice photo on the steps leading up to the palace was a real challenge, as hoards of tourists kept streaming up and down the steps. There are tourists everywhere that is nice. We still haven’t learnt to go early enough to miss the masses. Oh well, we just had to be a little bit more patient and wait for that quiet moment to snap away. We did manage to achieve photo shoots where it seems as if we were the only ones there.
I’m loving this Maggy London metallic dress with pockets, pleats and embellished neckline. Comfortable to wear and very fitting for our castle shoot! These Country Road pointed ballet flats with an ankle strap are so ladylike!
