It is getting cold - Autumn Fashion in Melbourne

Melbourne Autumn Fashion

II’m not quite ready for the cold season yet. I never really enjoyed winter until a few years back. Melbourne is not that cold … but cold enough. I discovered the art of dressing appropriately for the weather. Having a few gorgeous long coats and boots in my wardrobe made the difference. The colours of autumn are just lovely. Burnt orange, browns and caramels are some of my preferred colours for Autumn dressing. There is a lot of black in my wardrobe but I try to wear colour when I can.

I love chunky knits and cashmere for trans-seasonal dressing. Here I am wearing a short sleeved cashmere top from J Crew over a 3/4 sleeve top from Ojay.  The skirt is a vintage wool piece by a German label, Mondi. Boots are also from Germany. Scarves are mandatory for a cold day. As well as finishing off the outfit, it gives me comforting warmth!
