Who won the Myer Fashions on the Field 2015?
Emily Hunter is the Fashions on the Field (FOTF) National Winner 2015. This has got to be the most emotional win which I have ever witnessed in any Fashions on the Field competition. The winner, Emily Hunter, was rendered speechless when she was announced the Victorian winner. When she was named the National Fashions on the Field winner 2015 of the competition, so many of the spectators cried along with Emily and her family. Even my own eyes were getting teary watching her!
Her navy spot jacquard and pink lined full skirted ensemble (made by her mother) and lace and leather headpiece, scored Emily the major prize.

Why was this win so emotional? Because not only was Emily a beautiful looking young lady, she was also a very lovely and humble one. She wasn’t expecting to win! The dress was created by both Emily and her mum over a couple of days. It was inspired by fashion on pinterest.
Mum (Angela) had to speak for Emily on stage as Emily was on the brink of crying. She told us how she was thankful for the rain. If it wasn’t raining, she would be back home dusting the crop up in Grenfell, NSW! The rain allowed her to come down to enjoy the races in Melbourne and watch her daughter compete in the dress she had made. Oh, and Emily’s dad was just as teary as his daughter. These two were super proud parents. Boyfriend, John, was the only one who held it together.

Emily walks away with stacks of prizes, including a $71, 000 Lexus IS 200t F Sport. and thousands of dollars worth of Myers vouchers. Not a bad stash for this young lady and her home-made dress. We love creativity and this winner gets our thumbs up for putting together this winning look. The classics rule again and so are self-designed outfits.
