The Spring Racing Carnival has begun. The Caulfield racecourse fashion precinct was a sea of colour. It was hard to pick out which colour was most popular this year from the lovely fashionistas who were present. We’ll get a better gauge of it during the Caulfield Guineas and Caulfield Cup days.
Fuchsia shift dress
Regardless of the colour of the season, I dress in whatever makes me feel great. Fuchsia was my colour of choice for the Caulfield Preview Race Day. Here, I’m wearing a simple shift dress by Esprit. The bow at the neck add a little sweetness to it. The orange fascinator/hat was something that I had originally created for another dress which I decided against wearing on the day due to the cooler weather. It somehow clashed in a good way.
Eye catching
This is not a look I would recommend for the Fashions on the Field competition but the end result was an eye-catching, comfortable look which allowed me freedom and ease of movement when I was photographing. The bag is by Picard, shoes are from Ninewest, and bracelet is from Lovisa.
