I’ve been wanting to meet other creative people for a while so I decided to join the ‘Cocktails with Creatives’ group in Melbourne. Dragging my husband and a couple of photographer friends along, we headed for our first meet-up at the Rice Queen Oriental Diner and Bar in Fitzroy. It was a fun night chatting to strangers.

Stepping into the venue was like stepping into a bar somewhere in the Orient! Beautiful lanterns and cherry blossoms decorated the venue. The colourful chandeliers were just divine! The bartenders were super busy churning out amazing cocktails. It’s an busy but not overly crowded place where you can have a decent conversation without having to shout your lungs out. Love it!
