My racing fashion style has not changed too much after so many years of being involved in it.

I’m mainly attracted to vintage style with a modern edge. In saying that, my outfit for the recent Blue Diamond Stakes Day was a mish-mash of modern and vintage. The tropical print cape was from Cameo The Label. Capes are always reminiscent of the vintage era, but the edges on this one gave it that modern touch. I’ve styled it with a vintage Harry Who bustier top which I haven’t worn in over 10 years! What a hoarder I am!

The satin skirt was my own design (chopped up a beautiful full-length bridal skirt to create it), and the peeptoe ankle boots are from Tony Bianco. The hat is also my own creation. The cape will look fabulous with a pair of shorts as well. I’m going to try some different looks with it in the near future.

Overall, I loved wearing this ensemble – which is most important when it comes to fashion!
